The extent to which a substance is absorbed and therefore available to the body is called bioavailability. Unformulated Turmeric is known to have low bioavailability.¹ However, this advanced extract of Turmeric harnesses FenuMAT™ technology to enhance its bioavailability. FenuMAT™ utilizes Fenugreek galactomannans: a natural prebiotic fiber that forms a self-emulsifying protective hydrogel that protects Turmeric’s active phytochemicals (known as curcuminoids and curcumin) from degradation in the upper gastrointestinal tract. FenuMAT™ also increases attachment to the gastric mucosa, allowing slow release into the epithelium, promoting direct absorption into circulation and the lymphatic system.*² Curcumin with FenuMAT™ technology has demonstrated 45-times greater systemic bioavailability of free curcumin compared to unformulated curcumin.*³
